Ask for the kind of explanation you need

You can request a hint instead of a full solution, a step-by-step explanation, a second method, or a check of your work. Include constraints such as “use factoring” or “do not use calculus” so the response matches your course or goal.

For a word problem, include all of the wording and units. For a graph or handwritten exercise, upload a clear image and identify the part you want explained. Ask the AI to define symbols and show how each transformation follows.

Verify calculations and learn actively

Language models can make arithmetic, sign, unit or transcription mistakes. Substitute a proposed solution back into the original equation, check units, or verify important calculations with a calculator or trusted educational source. If an answer seems inconsistent, ask which step should be checked.

For learning, try solving a similar problem yourself after reading the explanation. AskGeez is a study aid, not a substitute for your instructor’s required method or assessment rules.

Pay only for independent questions

Your first question is free. After that, each independent question costs one $1 credit. Clarifications and reasonable continuations of the same problem are included within limits; a separate new exercise is another question.

AskGeez automatically selects an available AI model, so you can focus on the problem and the explanation rather than model settings.
